Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking
Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu.we will meet you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.meet your guide and brief about your trip.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 km/ 6-7 hours) you can chose by bus/car or fly.
Day 03: Trek , Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.)drive 1 hour by car and trek 3 hourwalk.
Day 04: Trek, Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2855 m.)6 hour walk through of rhododendron forest with colorful coulture
Day 05: Trek ,Ghorepani to Poon hill to Tadapani (2650 m.)get up early morning and climb poonhil 45 minute, back to hotel breakfast and walk 5 hour.
Day 06: Trek ,Tadapani to Ghandruk (1960 m.)3 hour walk down hill.
Day 07: Ghandruk to Pokhara via Birethanti (1040 m.): Trek, drive for one hour.
Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu (210 km you can choose by bus/car or fly.
Day 09: Departure from Nepal as per time.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is an easy and very popular short trek to Annapurana. The trek starts from the beautiful Modi Khola River, after a short drive from Pokhara. This trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery with varied characteristics of the. This trek is also rich of hidden treasure of Nepalese culture and tradition. The trail passes through rhododendron forests and fascinating traditional Gurung villages � a nice opportunity to witness the traditional houses, rich culture and the great landscape of Nepalese countryside.
The highlight of this trek is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon Hill, the highest point of this trek (3200 meters), for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalaya, where the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see. You can enjoy a superb panorama view of both Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
This trek is well suited for beginners or for those who have a limited time but still want a real Himalayan experience. The trek is easy and can be done all through the year except during the monsoon
