Tamang Heritage Trek
Tamang Heritage trek,The trail starts either from Dhunche or Syabrubesi and passes through Goljung, Gatlang, Chilime, Thuman, Timure and Briddim. The trail may end back in Syabrubesi or follow the Langtang trek from Briddim village via Khanjim. Goljung and Gatlang are traditional Tamang villages. While Goljung has ancient monastery, Gatlang set high on a hillside among terraced fields is the Tamang settlement. One can also visit a Tamang monastery and the beautiful Parvatikunda Lake at Gatlang. From the viewpoint at Bahundanda near these settlements, called Parwati Kunda and one can also see a panoramic view of Lantang, Kerung, and the Ganesh Himal, Sanjen Himal ranges.
After the trek of several days, bathing in the hot, healing waters of the natural spring at Tatopani en route from Gatlang to Chilime is an exhilarating experience. Brimdang offers cultural experience at community-run home-stay, while Nagathali in Thuman VDC is surrounded by beautiful views of Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh Himal and Sanjen Himal ranges. Nagthali used to be a popular meditation center for the local monks and priests. Next is Timure on the old trade route to Tibet. A fort at Rasuwagadi in Timure is a historical reminder of the Nepal-Tibet relations that has existed for many centuries. A suspension bridge here links Nepal and Tibet.

Itinerary Detail
Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and free transport to selected hotel at Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide,
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru bensi 09 hours by local bus, overnight in guest house/ lodge.
Day 04: Syabru besi trek to Gatlang (5 hrs) and overnight in Home stay or the community lodge built by the community.
Day 05: Gatlang trek to Tatopani (Natural hot-spring) (6-7 hrs) and which have very good pond for bathing.over night in community lodge/ Home-stay house.
Day 06: Tatopani trek to Thuman (6 hrs) and overnight in community lodge /local house or home-stay.
Day 07: Thuman trek to Briddim (6 hrs) and overnight in local home
Day 08: Briddim trek to Sherpa gaun (5 hrs) and overnight in local house or community house. Also available tea house/ guest house.
Day 09: Sherpa gaun trek to syabrubensi (5 hrs) and overnight in teahouse/ guest hous.
Day 10: Syabru bensi Drive back to Kathmandu by local bus (09 hours) Overnight at the hotel.

Visa info:
Important Notice for Visa Application: Tourist Visa Tourist who intends to visit Nepal must hold valid passport and visa.
You'll need a visa to enter Nepal. You can obtain a visa at the Nepal embassy or consulate in your home country or you can get one on arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International airport or at any road border. If you plan to stay longer than the duration of your initial 60-day visa, you’ll need to apply for a visa extension. The standard Nepali visa is valid for three months from the date of issue, so if you are getting yours before you leave home, don't apply too early, or it will expire before you want it to! Children under 10 years do not require a visa.
Nepal Visa fee:
US$ 25 for tourist visa with multiply entry for 15 days.
US$ 40 for tourist Visa with multiple entry for 30 days.
US$ 100 for tourist visa with multiple entry for 100 days.
Nepal Airport: There is only one international airport in Nepal. When you landed then many broker will come to around you and ask the hotel, taxi. You should be far way from them and do not let them touch your bag.
Best time for Nepal trekking:
Trekking in Nepal is possible at any time of the year depending on where you are going. The normal trekking routes can be done all over the year. The most suitable seasons are autumn and spring.
Autumn:
October and November are really Nepal's highest months for Nepal trek- offering excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views.
Spring:
Mar-May Different varieties of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons, make the hillside above 5000 meters a haunting paradise during this season. It is mildly warm at lower elevations and at higher elevation over 4000 meters the mountain views are excellent and temperature is quite moderate.
Extra day in to your holiday:
some time flights from Kathmandu to Lukla /Kathmandu and Jomsom to pokhara, delayed or canceled for a day due to bad weather. It is very rarely, it can be happen even best season, March, April and October/November. And while you are trekking, sometimes road can be blocked or strike. So Adventure Great Himalaya Treks always suggest you to have added one more night in Kathmandu. if your trip goes to smoothly then, you might have some Kathmandu city tour or shopping souvenir.
Water:
The streams should be considered polluted and whilst bottled water is often available the disposal of plastic bottles is a problem. Have some means to purify water, iodine and/or a fine ceramic filter are the best options.
Food:
During your trek, you can have and enjoy typical Nepali food, and also international cuisine Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.. The teahouse/lodge has menu where you spent your night. They will serve you different kinds of meal as your choice. Lunch will be served on the way to destination, dinner and breakfast in the tea house . Adventure Great Himalaya Company recommend you not to have a meat Item meal when you are going up. the meat are not frees. when your body adjust with Nepal climate and food then can have as your preference meal..
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness if a serious consideration if you are climbing or trekking in Nepal and it's essential that you investigate the causes, symptoms and treatment of altitude sickness before you travel to Nepal.
Symptoms: The symptoms of Altitude sickness in Nepal are nausea, irritability, headaches, a dry cough and in more severe cases of Altitude sickness the victim may start to cough up a pink frothy substance and lose their balance as though drunk.
Prevention: It is essential that you give your body time to acclimatize as you ascend. If you fly into high altitudes during your trip to Nepal, then you should spend two to three nights at that place enjoying the local attractions and resting. This should give you time to acclimatize. You should take great note of your body at all times and if you feel the slightest of Altitude sickness symptoms then you should remain where you are until these have passed. As you ascend take frequent breaks at each 1000 meters and, again do not continue to ascend if you are feeling the slightest of Altitude sickness symptoms.
Treatment: If you are experiencing Altitude sickness during your trip to Nepal then it is essential that you ascend immediately and do not attempt to climb again until your body has acclimatized. Severe cases may need to be flown out, so ensure that you have adequate travel insurance during your trip to Nepal.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is very important for your safety. In the event of any high altitude sickness or injury, the cost of emergency treatment and evacuation is shocking.
