                                 Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak (6461m) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and a suitable challenge for a first-time climb in the Himalaya. It is situated in an as yet un spoilt part of Nepal and provides you with an extremely varied mountain adventure. The trekking starts from Lukla and pass through Sherpa village called Inkhu Valley which develops and presents the offering of superb scenery, unforgettable experience and the abundant wildlife including the so-called Yeti legendry. Mera Peak offers a panoramic view of Chamlang, Kangchenjunga, Makalu, and Baruntse in the east and the peaks of Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam and Kangtega to the west. Everest can be viewed to the north over the massive unclimbed south face of Lhotse and the Nuptse/Lhotse ridge.

• Nepal entry visa fee (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Katmandu).

• All the Food in  Kathmandu.  also in the case of early return from mountain ( due to any reason) Than the scheduled Itinerary.
• All the expenses in mountain over than scheduled itinerary ( due to strike, delay or canceled flight)
• Extra night Hotel in Kathmandu if arrive early or late departure than schedule Itinerary.
• Climbing boots.

Equipment List

The following list gives you a general idea for the personal items to be brought by you for peak climbing in Nepal.  Please review the list as a guideline. Adjustments to the list can be done according to your needs, interests, duration of your trip, season of your trip, etc.  You can easily find variety of these gears to hire or buy in Kathmandu. Majority of the gears which are selling in Kathmandu are locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper) and some gears here are imported from China and are obviously better quality.  You can find very high quality branded gears too in some famous stores here.
