          Yala Peak Climbing

Yala peak 5637m is famous, easier and non technical trekking peak in Nepal lies in Langtang trekking region north of Kathmandu valley. As Yala peak is not difficult for climbing, prior climbing experience is not required though but previous outdoor experience and average level of fitness is recommended. From Katmandu we drive to Syabru Bensi then walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements we reach the wonderful base camp of Yala peak, where the views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side are stunning. Adventure Great Himalaya Treks Company has professional climbing Sherpa/Guide will take to you safety way to summit the Yala peak as your expectation.

Short Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, receive and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Kathmandu city sightseeing tour. Evening, orientation briefing on trekking/climbing. Overnight at Hotel (B)

Day 03: Drive about 8 hrs to Syabru (2200m). Overnight: camp.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m).

Day 05: Trek to Langtang (3100m).

Day 06: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3750m).

Day 07: Excursion to Tserko Ri (5033m).

Day 08: Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m).

Day 09: Yala Peak summit (5732m) & back to Kyangjen Gompa.

Day 10: Reserve day.

Day 11: Trek to Ghora Tabela (3050m).

Day 12: Trek to Syabru (2200m).

Day 13: Trek to Sing Gompa (3300m).

Day 14: Trek to Dhunche (1950m).

Day 15: From Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 16: Kathmandu. Free day - optional sightseeing may be made in Kathmandu valley.

Day 17: Transfer to airport, assistant for check-in for final departure.

Cost Excludes

• Nepal entry visa, you can obtain easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency is required to obtain Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 15 days. Likewise, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 100 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. You will also require 2 passport size photos.)
• All the Alcoholic, hot and cold drinks, laundry.Personal trekking and Climbing Equipment.

Adjustments to the list can be done according to your needs, interests, duration of your trip, season of your trip, etc.  You can easily find variety of these gears to hire or buy in Kathmandu. Majority of the gears which are selling in Kathmandu are locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper) and some gears here are imported from China and are obviously better quality.  You can find very high quality branded gears too in some famous stores here.
