Overview

                                      Dhaulagiri Trek

Mt. Dhaulagiri is  Sixth Highest Mountain in the worlds. Dhaulagiri Trek is a  challenging trek around Dhaulagiri mountain crossing two Himalayan passes. Dhaulagiri Circuit trek explores a wild, remote and off-the-beaten-track area of the Nepal Himalaya. The trek starts at Beni and then follows the Myagdi Khola river passing through beautiful Gurung villages with terraced fields framed by views of the Dhaulagiri massif. After walking up the narrow Chonbarden gorge towards Dhaulagiri Base Camp we then cross French Pass into Hidden Valley. After crossing Dhampus Pass we start the long descent to Jomsom and then at the end of the trek we fly out to Pokhara

Short Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley & rest of the day preparation for the trek.
Day 3: Drive to Beni by bus & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 4: Trek to Babichor & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 5: Trek to Dharapani & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 6: Trek to Muri & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 7: Trek to Boghara & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 8: Trek to Dobang & then overnight stay at camp. 
Day 9: Trek to Camp & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 10: Trek to Italian Camp & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 11: Acclimatization day at Italian Camp & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 12: Trek to Italian Camp to Camp & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 13: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 14: Acclimatization and rest day at Dhaulagiri Base Camp.
Day 15: Trek to French Pass (5400m/17712), Camp in the 'Hidden valley .
Day 16: Trek to Thapa Pass , Yak Kharka & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 17: Trek to Jomsom & then overnight stay at camp.
Day 18: Fly back to Pokhara & then overnight stay at Hotel .
Day 19: Drive back to kathmandu by bus .
Day 20: Departure from Nepal or extend your Holiday
