                                        Langtang Gosainkunda Trek

Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is one the most popular short medium range trek in Nepal. This area nestled in the Himalayas is situated north of Kathmandu. This trek is famous for its beautiful valley, waterfalls, birds and different kinds of wild life. Traveling quite close to the border of Tibet you will have the chance to visit beautiful Tamang, Sherpa Villages as well as the glaciers with magnificent views of high mountains. Goasinkunda Lake is the site of an annual holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists. It is regarded as the greatest lake of the 108 lakes in this area. The views of the Himalayas from here are truly extraordinary.

Short Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.we will meet you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.meet your Guide.brief about your trip.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Dhunche: Kathmandu to Dhunche (1950m) (117 km/ 7-8 hours): Drive by bus/jeep.

Day 03: Dhunche to Syabru Village: Trek.

Day 04: Syabru Village to Lama Hotel: Trek.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang: Trek.

Day 06: Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa (3700 m.): Trek.

Day 07: Rest day at Kyanjing Gompa: Excursion to glacier and Tserko~Ri.

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel: Trek.

Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syabru village: Trek.

Day 10: Syabru village to Sin Gompa: Trek.

Day 11: Sin Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4261): Trek.

Day 12: Gosainkunda Lake to Tharepati (3605): Trek.

Day 13: Tharepati to Kutumsang (2440m): Trek.

Day 14: Kutumsang to Chisopani: Trek.

Day 15: Chisopani to Kathmandu via Sundarijal (1460m) (15 km/one hour): Trek, drive by bus/car.

Day 16: departure from Nepal as per your time.

• All accommodations in lodge/tea houses during the treks.
• Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) Permit.
• An experienced, helpful and friendly Guide, porters (1 porter for 2 peoples). Salary, - Food,   Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation and Insurance for the Guide and Porter.
• Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel insurance company.
• Sleeping bag, down jackets, Duffle bag and walking stick, if necessary.
• Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available).

Cost Excludes

• Nepal Visa fee you may obtain easily in Kathmandu airport.
•  International airfare to and from Kathmandu.
• Extra night Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled.
• All the Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu (and  also Hotel,all the meals  in the case of early return from mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
• All the expenses in mountain over than Scheduled because sometime can be stuck in mountain due to land slide, political strike etc.
• Travel and rescue insurance.
• Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, extra porters, bottle or boiled water, shower, Pot of tea coffee etc)
• Tips for guides and porters.

Renting Sleeping bag and down Jacket cost around US$ 1 per day  and buying is depend the quality. cost from US$ 100 to 200.
